31/01/2012 - Division 1 - Review

Division 1 of the WKSFL is now well and truly split with only three teams in the running for top spot. Reigning champions Simla are in pole position having yet to be beaten. However, of the collective (26) games remaining for the top three, over half (14) are games against each other.

The record of Artois, Predators and Simla against Robin Hood, Crowborough and Pembury is very similar, as shown below. This table will eventually see each team play 12 games.

Team P W D L F A GD Pts
Simla 7 6 1 0 46 10 36 19
Predators 8 7 0 1 39 16 23 21
Artois 9 8 1 0 39 9 30 25

In games against each other, Simla holds the upper hand. This table will eventually see each team play 8 games.

Team P W D L F A GD Pts
Simla 2 2 0 0 5 2 3 6
Predators 4 2 0 2 6 10 -4 6
Artois 4 1 0 3 8 7 1 3

February sees Simla play both Predators and Artois. If they will both games, the bookies should start to pay out.
